Who are Mongkut Advisory's typical clients?
We work primarily with small and mid-sized companies registered in Thailand — including financial services firms, fintech operators, trading companies, and businesses subject to PDPA or sector-specific licensing obligations. We also assist regional companies whose Thai subsidiaries have supervisory reporting requirements.
How long does a Compliance Health Check typically take?
A Health Check engagement usually runs two to three weeks from the point of engagement confirmation, depending on the volume of documentation we need to review and the availability of the client's team for a structured discussion. The deliverable — a written findings report — is typically around ten to fifteen pages.
Are your fees all-inclusive, or are there additional costs?
The quoted fee covers adviser time and all deliverables described in the engagement scope. Reasonable out-of-pocket costs — such as travel to a client's premises outside Bangkok, or certified translation by a third party where needed — would be discussed and agreed in advance and are not included in the base fee.
Can you attend regulator meetings on our behalf?
Under the Year-Long Counsel Programme, attendance at regulator meetings — with the BOT, SEC, or AMLO — is included where it is practically useful and where the regulatory body's process allows for adviser attendance. For standalone engagements, this can be arranged separately and scoped accordingly.
Do you provide legal advice alongside compliance advisory work?
Mongkut Advisory provides compliance and regulatory advisory services. Where a matter requires formal legal advice — litigation, contract negotiation, or opinion letters — we are happy to indicate appropriate referral options, though this falls outside the scope of our own engagements.
How is confidentiality handled during engagements?
All engagements are conducted under standard confidentiality terms set out in the engagement letter. Client information, internal documents, and correspondence are not shared with any third party without explicit written authorisation. We are also able to sign a separate non-disclosure agreement prior to any initial discussion if the client prefers.
